Boski Air Units FAQs

  • What is the range of coverage for real-time disinfection?
    Thanks to 99.89% single-pass virus kill rate in Boski units, real-time air disinfection takes place if they are placed in the 3-4 ft distance from a person (for example, within or close to 6-ft social distancing range). If the unit is further away, efficient disinfection will still take place, but with a slight delay.
  • What area do Boski units cover?
    Boski units can cover approx. 300 sq.ft (comparable to similar-size products on the market with similar fans – 32 CFM rated) if the units are left on continuously.
  • What is Boski’s warranty?
    Boski air sanitizers are protected by a 1-year Limited Warranty. The warranty is limited to regular functionality of the device and does not cover wear and tear.
  • How do I know if the UV-C light is working?
    When the device is plugged in and switched on, a blue glow from the top of the device indicates the device is working.
  • What is UV-C light?
    UV-C refers to ultraviolet light with wavelengths between 200 – 280 nanometers (nm). Light in the UV-C wavelength can be used for destroying harmful viruses in the air.
  • Is Boski’s device tested?
    Yes. 99.89% single-pass, real-time virus kill rate has been confirmed through tests completed by ARE Labs in compliance with the FDA Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as defined in 21 CFR, Part 58. Boski’s lab test results are available on our website.
